Was determined to complete my thesis correction
Sent the first correction to supervisor and internal examiner
Went to Japan for the 2nd time
Continued completing thesis correction
Went to Cameron Highlands with family
Ramadhan at KL
Raya at Penang and Kedah
Had some critical moments regarding the thesis correction
Due to absence of internal supervisor
End of july finally sent the completed thesis !!
Joined Free Market with housemates
Moved out and went back to KL for good
Got a new niece
Helped my sister 'berpantang'
Had my Convocation
Went to interview 4 times at the same place
The security guard ended up recognizing me lol
End of November finally signed the working contract
Lets have a good rest and prepare for next year !
This year, I achieved three things:
To find a soulmate
To get a job
Actually, the only thing I worked hard for was to graduate
but I think my hard work paid off
because of that I was able to get a decent job
the salary may not be that great but it was near home which was priority
and even though I had to go for 3 interviews and 1 mock teaching
but at the end it was worth it because I got the job
This year my life looked very organized huh
after one event, another event happened
Well one thing I can say is
Another important thing to note for myself
NEVER STOP SPREADING PEACE
"when we help Allah's religion, Allah will help us" [Muhammad:7]
There were a lot of events that I didn't include in here
because I don't want to brag about the small good deeds that I made
but because of these small good deeds,
Allah helped me to ease my journey in achieving want I aimed for
I will continue to do as many good deeds as I can
It will be challenging
Working is different from studying
but I hope I won't make that as an excuse
Till next year.

Its going to be a month I officially stopped eating the meds.
On the face not yet for now, and I hope I'll be able to control those bastard bacteria and sebum from forming a painful acne. I'm using the Cetaphil cleanser to clean my face thoroughly, moisturize my face properly (to avoid the skin produce unnecessary oil) using Dr Belmeur (The Face Shop) moisturizer for sensitive skin and avoid putting any kinda cream based product especially at night to avoid clogged pores. So far so good.
But the problem now is..
I'm having acne on my scalp! yikes!
Yes it's a relapse.
I think the main reason is because I've been neglecting my scalp a little bit. I've been too focused on my face that I forgot my scalp needs the same attention. Now I need to find a way to treat these acne and try to heal my scalp before it gets worse.
I realized that most of the products that are suitable for my skin are on the expensive side. I can't use those regular cheap cleansers for my face or scalp. I have been using the Clear shampoo for my hair, and I think that's a major mistake. I have been doing product research for my face, so I guess now I'm off to do product research for my scalp. yeay!? On the bright side, I'm grateful that my body skin is not as sensitive as my face and scalp, if not I think I'll go broke real quick. Well it is a bit sensitive but thank God not to the extent of having acne, cuz some people do get acne on their body especially at their backs. Hold up! I used to sometimes get some before I took the meds. So does this mean that I need an expensive cleanser for my body too????? O Lord...
Anyhow.. some things that I take into account when I do product research is of course the affordability, suitable for what skin type (mine is oily and sensitive) and most important, reviews from people with the same skin type or same skin problem.
huh.. I guess I'll have to start using baby products.. bye bye $$$money$$$ ~
I hope I'll be able to maintain my skin and avoid any acne build up... I wonder what will happen if I choose to continue the meds and not have children.. hurm~~
Its a matter of am I willing to sacrifice something to get something that I'm not even sure I'll even get.

1. Kenali Supervisor.
Alhamdulillah for that!!
3. Research Grant / Funding.
4. Independent. Kalau anda dapat supervisor yang suka suap anda, tahniah! tapi kebanyakkan supervisor takde masa nak main suap-suap. So belajarlah buat semua benda sendiri. Taktau, tanya. Tanya kawan-kawan, pelajar-pelajar senior, lab technician, lecturer lain, tanya tanya tanya.
6. Jadi RA dulu. So untuk mengatasi masalah #5, jangan daftar lagi sebagai pelajar, jadi RA dulu. Saya dulu bodoh, taktau tektik ni. Tau pun sebab kawan yang bagitau, supervisor dia suruh jadi RA dulu setahun baru daftar pelajar. Supervisor saya selfish kedekut tak bagitau boleh buat RA dulu. Dia takut kita lari la tu so laju-laju suruh daftar jadi pelajar. Geram pulak bila fikir balik.
Takpelah kan, disebalik setiap kesukaran ada kemudahan :)

Al-kisah perjalanan master saya.
Lama ke? lama la jugak.
Dari saat saya tulis ni dah 4 tahun.
Tapi alhamdulillah sikit je lagi nak grad.
Kenapa boleh muncul luahan ni? Sebab saya nak share, betapa pentingnya ketahanan mental seseorang apabila menghadapi tekanan.
"survival mode", "memory block".
Meh saya cerita sedikit berkenaan supervisor saya.
Pada saya, beliau just plain selfish, terlampau mengejar award. Dulu saya tak nampak hakikat ni, bila pikir-pikir balik, patut la office beliau dipenuhi display of awards.
Di saat nak habis candidature (dah nak 3 tahun master), family especially parents dah mula tertanya-tanya bila nak habis master. Di sebabkan tiada published Q1 paper, SV sering menyebut-nyebut bahawa saya bakal susah untuk lulus viva sebab tiada Q1 paper nak back up.
Senang cerita, saya terus lupa pasal paper tu.
Sepanjang saya bercuti, SV call saya tak jawab, message tak reply.
Masa inilah "survival mode" saya activated tanpa saya sedar.
Berkenaan Q1 paper, beliau warning, kalau tak submit Q1 paper, beliau taknak sign borang grad.
Masa ni saya tak ingat lagi pasal paper ni. "Memory block" masih kuat.
Saya scroll perlahan-lahan paper tu,
"Ya Allah, bila aku buat paper nie? ni la paper yang SV sibuk suruh buat tu, bila plak aku buat? siap dah email pada dia tapi nape dia duk ungkit suruh buat lagi paper".
Saya memang tak ingat pasal paper tu dan insiden beliau reject paper tu. Saya terus berlari keluar bilik dan berjumpa sahabat saya (yang saya cerita awal-awal tadi), lepas dah cerita dari A to Z, sahabat saya ni lah yang tolong huraikan apa sebenarnya yang sedang terjadi pada diri saya.
Rupanya saya sedang mengalami "memory block" dan "survival mode".
In order to survive, i blocked a certain bad memory, so that i can move on and achieve what i desperately need (untuk grad).
Saya duk ingat saya tak buat lagi paper tu. Allah...
Cerita yang saya tulis ni adalah simplified version of what happened. Banyak lagi perkara yang terjadi in between events, yang sebenarnya menerukkan lagi keadaan.
Kita memang tak akan sedar yang kelakuan kita berubah disebabkan stress, sebab it is a subconscious thing, sampailah ada orang point it out to us.
Saya sampai tertanya-tanya, "sejak bila aku pandai menipu ni, sikit-sikit nak menipu".
Sedih pun ada.
Moral of the story: jangan ambil ringan isu mental ni dan jangan malu untuk mendapatkan pertolongan (mental help especially) apabila kita sedar yang kelakuan kita semakin hari semakin pelik.

I have been eating everything without any pantang
pantang tengok ade la
Before taking the isotretinoin (accutane), people (including those claimed to be doctors) would advise not to eat this, not to eat that, cause it would worsen my acne problem
But after going to Dr Lim's clinic, he told me that there is no relation between food and acne
he said that there are no proven study that foods would give you acne, unless you are allergic to a certain group of foods, then that's another story
acne is all about hormones, pore and oil glands
I have been consuming the meds for more than a year now
starting from end of last year, I have started to reduce my dosage
at first I tried to consume only one pil a day, and that went well (gladly)
then I tried consuming only one pil in two days, so far so good
the reason I pandai2 je reduced my own dosage was because
first, I wanted to cut down the cost and
second, I like to experiment on myself and take only the minimum amount of dosage
whenever I accidentally forgot or purposely not take the meds for more than three/four days, acne would stop by to say "hi~~" Even though the acne that pops out is usually at one spot, but because its a huge and deep acne, it takes time to dry and heal, so it will leave a scar which takes even more days to disappear *sobs*
the doc did mention that I have to take the meds for 18 months
so I probably could stop in august 2017
i really really hope i could stop soon
because I have been consuming this med for a year now
it's getting scary how I am sort of relying on this med
anyhow, I'm glad alhamdulillah that I can live comfortably in my own skin now
even if, lets say, i have to take this med forever, i have no complaints :)
26 March 2017
I bought the entry tickets online from travelticketsbymieraww at RM260/person. It's a virtual ticket using QR codes. I received the tickets via email & whats app. The tickets will only be sent one or two days before.
I was already in Osaka when I received the tickets, chuak jugak sebab esok dah nak pergi 12 tengah malam baru terima tiket, but all is well, I woke up in the morning and saw my tickets have arrived pheww! thanx miera!!
Taking subway to Universal-City Station
We arrived at USJ around 9.30am. I thought we were early because the park opened at 9am. But LOL when we arrived some people were already screaming enjoying some rides. Since we already bought the tickets, we directly headed to the entrance.
At first, the entrance machine could not detect our QR code, ah sudah nape tak detect.. chuak kali kedua, but when the worker used another device (a portable one) to scan the QR code, we finally got in.. Alhamdulillah!!
I went with my mom, so I asked her to sit somewhere while I rushed to the Harry Potter area to get the timing tickets, because I read in some blogs, they say you must get the timing tickets to get into the Harry Potter area. Once I arrived, the workers just said dozo dozo which means sila kan.. masuk la, being a bit clueless I just entered and walked in.
Totally excited, I entered all shops and bought a harry potter wand :)
the wand :)
I wanted to enter the HP 3D motion ride but there were no que, and people were like crowding the area.. being confused, I returned back to my mom. Since I already bought the wand, I can always re-visit HP with my mom later.
egg sandwich and hot choc
We had breakfast and headed back to HP. We wanted to enter but the worker suddenly asked for the timing tickets, pulak dah! tadi masuk rilek je, Then I realized that the timing tickets only started after 10am.
When I entered earlier it was some sort of early bird, so no need for timing tickets. So we went to the timing ticket machine (in front of JAW area) and got a 1pm entry ticket. The timing ticket is free by the way. So we enjoyed other rides first.
It was raining, we didn't go on many rides. I wanted to go on the roller coasters but it was super cold!! tak mampu la eden.. it was raining the whole day. I guess we chose the wrong day to come huhu..
So for those planning to come, do check the weather forecast before booking the tickets
Raining in Hogsmeade
Anyhow, we entered HP at 1pm, queued for the ride, in the rain, in the cold, for almost 3 hours!! tapi sebab nak jugak masuk.. bertabahlah..
Hogwarts students waiting to enter school
Finally we got on the ride, and seriously it's super fun. If we did not have to wait for 3 hours I would have ride it again and again and again!

16 March 2017
Malaysia passport - RM200 (5 years)
renew online at myIMMs
* the tricky part of this is you need to upload a passport pic, if the pic is not up to their standard, it will be rejected and you will have to re-take the photo at the immigration office
* pic must be : black&white, white background, no spectacles, space margin must follow their specified margin in their website
* pay online, collect at any immigration office of your choice (still need to take a number tho..meh~)
For new passport, just bring your IC/mykid and money of course, the passport will be ready in probably 30 minutes or so
Certain countries does not need a visa (you will get Visa-on-arrival form to fill during flight)
Some countries you can apply a visa online or through travelling agencies
* make sure what type of visa you need for the country you are visiting
You can apply for takaful insurance from KIMB - takaful kembara
* the insurance depends on where you are going and how long, usually the cost is around RM15/person.
Since i usually fly with airasia, i only know their rules, but mostly all flights are the same
For tight budget travelers, no need to add on baggage check-in, you can bring in a cabin bag
but make sure it is following these rules:
If you want to bring liquid/food/any items prohibited in cabin, you must check-in your baggage
Check-in baggage minimum is 20kg (allowed for multiple bags with different owners, as long as all owners are booked under the same booking number)
* price depends on when you add it, if during the first booking, RM89
* if after the booking, RM106
* if during check-in at the counter the price is higher
t/n:- long umbrellas are not allowed in the cabin, it must be check-in into cargo
Taking wuduk is a hassle especially in flights or going to non-muslim countries
What I usually do is take my wuduk before going out, so if my wuduk happens to 'batal',
I would use a small spray water bottle (that I carry around) to take wuduk, I can also wipe the water on top of my shoes/socks without taking them off instead of wetting my feet. Most travelers don't know about this.
* if you are not certain of this, you can read a Fiqh Ibadah book for travelers
And of course solat while sitting, you should know this.. there's no excuse to not solat in difficult situations, and travelling to non-muslim countries you should expect some difficultlies especially to solat. make sure to bring a plastic mat as a sejadah, so that you can solat anywhere anytime
Some places like the airport, public places do provide praying areas, so don't hesitate to ask at the information counter
The most important thing to ensure is a place to stay & transportation
If you are planning to go to only one city, it is best to book only 1 place to stay through out your visit
But if you are planning to go to other cities, or far places it is best to book multiple places to stay
Therefore, itinerary is important to be done quickly, a rough idea of where and when to go is sufficient so that you have an idea where and when to book for your stay
A more detailed itinerary is needed especially if you are travelling without a guide.
details such as
- transportation & fee
- entrance fee for places you are visiting & opening hours
- travelling time, to-from hotel and places
- discount/special pass for tourists
- halal eating places & mosque
Always check the weather and temperature at the time of visit, make sure to bring the right clothes
Data roaming is usually is a bit expensive. Some countries have easy access of free wifi, or the hotel you are staying provide portable wifi. For some countries it is better to buy their sim card and subscribe to local data.
Make sure how much you will need for on-ground expenses and exchange beforehand. Activate your bank account for overseas withdrawal, this is for emergency measures where you unexpectedly spent all your money!
If you are going to places that locals do not speak english, it is advisable to learn their language simple words & phrases will help you big time.
Things to bring
- universal plug
- powerbank, charger
- thermal clothes & winter apparel (for cold places)
- waterproof bag, raincoat / cap (for rainy season)
- suitable shoes based on the country's weather
- printed documents, itinerary

29 April 2016
I went to Seoul by package, everything was already arranged. The package includes flight, hotel, entrance tickets, transportation, food (everything!!) I basically just need to go and have fun.. wehoo!
Package from Ticket Murah (facebook page) RM3400.
I'm not sure if Malaysian needs Visa, the only thing that I had to prepare for was of course my passport (which I already have and is 6 month before expired).
Other than that, things to bring, such as suitable clothes and halal food.
Due to the fluctuating weather during spring, it is advisable to bring jacket for cold weather especially at night and rainy days, the temperature can drop to 7 degree Celsius (very cold okay!). For halal food, I didn't even prepare any... LOL ! By experience, I would just go with being a Vegetarian and eat fish and I'll survive just fine. If you can't stand that and must eat meat, don't worry, just google for halal restaurant, there are several in Seoul (especially in Itaewon).
No worries. It's basically everywhere. We even had our own router inside the Hotel room (cool right!). Sometimes when walking outside at the streets you will get some random public wifi, don't worry, it's safe, just connect to that and you're good to go.
You can go anywhere by subway (the easiest way) or bus (never tried this). Because I went by package, we had our own private bus for the group tour. There was only one particular day where we were able to ride the subway, and seriously speaking, Korea's subway was waaaaaay tourist friendlier than Japan.. LOL! The ticket machine was very easy to navigate. The route to change from one subway line to another was so convenient. Each subway line has it's own colour, so from one gate to another there are coloured stripes on the wall, you just follow which ever line colour you intend to go and walahhh you will arrive safe and sound.. seriously we didn't get lost AT ALL. This experience was totally different from Japan's subway! Japan really needs to follow Korea's subway system :)
We stayed at Seoul City Hotel. I would very much recommend this hotel. I don't know how much the room cost because it was in the package, but the hotel was very clean, comfy, near the subway, and the staffs were friendly too. They even have universal extension cord! The only downside is that the breakfast is too simple, I ate the same food every morning which was cereal and milk. They did prepare porridge and bread, but I don't eat those in the morning. So for those who are picky with food should really bring something from home for breakfast. I don't know about other hotels, maybe other hotels with higher price have more decent breakfast.
Places that we went :
Gyeongbokgung Palace, Nami Island, Everland, Seoul Tower, Seoul Mosque in Itaewon (by Private Bus)
Tapgol Park, Traditional Village in Bukchon, Unhyeongung Palace (by Subway)
I'm not really a 'package' kinda person, I prefer backpacking, being independent, going on public transportation, walking into small streets, going into random shops, visiting local's everyday places, learn local's culture, walking in the streets, observing people and surrounding, getting lost (?), communicating with the locals.. yeah.
There were even times when I would just wonder around by myself (got scolded for doing this.. LOL), you know when you go in groups, you tend to have to wait for other people and move in groups.. yup, waiting and going in groups is not my kinda thing, so I sometimes ended up wondering around by myself, but I always sneak back to the group before people noticed I was missing *evil smile*.
But even so, the trip was fun and I do get to experience some of it.
Would I visit Korea again? Definitely!

Mungkin kerana penat sangat campur mengantuk campur pening kepala,

Being in a critical phase for my masters, i kinda neglected my eating schedule
it has been a few days since i'm having stomach ache
well besides having sensitive skin, i also have a very sensitive stomach
and usually when my stomach hurts, other parts of my body would hurt too
and on top of that, due to being an owl with sleeping disorder
where i pretty much find it difficult to sleep at night but have no problem sleeping during the day
the stomach pain just makes my sleeping disorder worse
the meds are finally taking its toll.. a bit..
if previously my stomach ache would only last one to two days,
after taking the meds, its taking longer than usual to get better
i read somewhere that it is also common for some people to have longer time to cure from a cut or bruise or whatever pain after taking the meds
yeah.. that's definitely happening to me right now
but still, i'm very thankful that at least my skin is clearing up
all those whatever products out there.. are totally not worth buying
especially for those with severe skin problem
whatever happens, i'm going to endure this journey
dear me, fighting!
10 February 2016
Today is exactly a month since i took the meds.
last week I went to Dr. Lim's clinic for a second visit because i ran out of the meds.
i guess next visit i need to confirm the number of pills they are providing because it seems insufficient for a month, and i'm already on my second bottle.
i made some readings before and most people say that there will be a 'break out' phase where acne or pimples will start coming out either worst than before or less depending on that person.
'break out' phase.
i'm in that phase a few weeks already.
but it's not severe like before.. gladly!
the acne do come out but not as big and juicy like previous ones.
and they dry very quickly.
i guess its also the effect of the soap cleanser and creams i'm using.
it makes the acne under control.
but it's a little weird that the acne is coming out from places they never did before and sometimes itchy.
well.. as long as it's not severe i'm okay with it.
of course there are side-effects, but not severe.
the side effects also vary depending on that person.
the common ones that i read:
1. dryness of lip and skin.
my lip is dry but under control. i use the lib balm stick the doc provided very often.
and drink LOTSSSS of water.
there was this one time i tried fasting
that was major mistake!
because i consumed less water that day, the next day the edge of my lips started cracking and very sour it hurts! i think a little bleeding also..
well that just shows how important consumption of water is.
but now my lips are not as dry as the first few days i consumed the meds.
i can use the lip balm less now.
because i have mixed type skin (some parts of my face is oily some are normal)
after consuming the meds, the oily part is dried up, but the problem is the normal part is super dry and flaky that it hurts.
so what i did was i put on moisturizing cream on the super dry parts only and it seems to work.
some people said they actually have depression after taking the meds.
i don't actually know the feeling of depression because i never had any (really?)
well i'm quite a positive person so even if i had one i would quickly recover from it (i'm sure about this tho)
so nope. no depression for me. feeling like the usual me.
only some slight mood swings at times..
3. irregular menstrual cycle.
nope. actually it became more regular for me.
4. body ache and lethargic.
erm.. seems like no, but even if there are it's not critical i think. only some days i sleep earlier than usual. no body ache. i just started swimming again and no muscle pain at all.
i guess thats about it.. some people may have more than the common side-effects, but if they're severe, always refer to your doctor!
i hope my skin would return to it's original state, i'm really not interested in being pretty
if i were, i would have wore make up instead, which i don't even know how to..heh
i just want to feel normal again.. at least feel that i belong in this skin..
so until next update.. keep being positive!

the drug that doesn't allow you to be pregnant while on it.
Glad I'm not married yet. fufufu..
a skin care specialist (dermatologist), very famous, known for his magical meds that will definitely heal you.
his clinic at georgetown is always full of patients.
So since my skin problem in 2014 occurred, and worsen in 2015, I tried every alternative meds, met every alternative doctors and spent so much money and nothing works.
I eventually decided to give the drugs a try.
That was after my housemate tried to persuade me and I was also on the verge of giving up.
Being told that Dr.Lim is a skin specialist made me have that slight confidence to give the drugs a try.
I wanted to ask more but due to the many patients who were waiting outside, I guess I could always ask more on the next visit.
Lets keep the positive attitude going!

#Books to read / Movies to watch on phone/tab during long hour flights (don't forget earphone/headsets)
5.35 arrived, inside of plane is sprayed for disinfection, fill up arrival form
6.30 clear of immigration, who needs scanning machine when you can use a dog! The dog is so cute tho!
7.00 bought a $10 sim card (for 5 days data $2/day of 500MB) at OPTUS YES store just outside the arrival exit (the data is more than enough for our 4 day trip)
7.00 took free connect shuttle from T1 (international terminal) to T3 (domestic terminal)
7.15 took bus 37 from T3 to Hotel ($4.50 for 2 zone)
8.00 drop baggage at hotel, walked to barrack jetty (10min walk)
8.45 because the cruise was too expensive & departed late, we decided to go by train, so took the blue cat to perth station from jetty, boarded the train on fremantle line.. the self service machine was a little tricky.. but we managed to buy the tickets with the help of a tourist couple.. friendly indeed ;)
10.00 arrived fremantle station, took blue cat to cicerrello fish n chips for brunch.. the food? Not my taste tho.. could be better..a little bit disappointed because there was no chilly sauce!!
11.00 took a tour around fremantle with blue & red cat
11.45 took the train back to perth station
12.45 used the same ticket to perth mosque (bus 950 & 60)
1.15 prayed zhr & asr at perth mosque
1.30 again with the same ticket (the ticket lasted until 1.45pm) took bus 60 and red cat to hotel
2.00 bad news.. the station in front of our hotel had a construction so they moved the station to a temporary station and we didn't know that, so we had to make another round (which took us another 30mins!!) to stop at murray street.. anyways get to see more of perth city from on the bus lol
3.00 finally checked in hotel, rested like crazy
5.00 went out for dinner at D'ankasa..a Penang Nyonya halal cafe right beside our hotel..the reason for booking this hotel! Nearby halal food! Bought breakfast too for tomorrow at nearby 7e..as stores are not open early in the day..
6.00 back to hotel..more rest!! Need energy to see the kangaroos!
8.55 bought 5 zone ticket ($7.90/person), took bus 950 from perth station to john forrest secondary college station
9.26 with the same ticket, took bus 345 to whiteman park (this W bus goes to the park only twice a day, better not miss it!)
10.00 arrived whiteman park, entered caversham wildlife park ($27/person)
12.00 bought tuna bread & spinach muffin for lunch
12.30 took the tram for a short tour around the park ($5/person)
1.00 zhr&asr somewhere indoors and clean in the park, then did a little shopping at small shops in the park
3.10 board bus 345, 950 & red cat back to hotel
4.45 dinner and rest
8.30 arrived rockingham station, boarded bus 552 to penguin rd using the same ticket
9.00 walked to rockingham wildlife encounter, quite far, had a very cold & windy 30mins walk, but the view was great
9.30 bought tickets ($90/person for dolphin sighting tour package), went to nearby atm to draw money, the atm was a 25min walk from RWE
10.20 went to jetty waited for the boat (weather was cold & windy, didn't bring a sweater or wind breaker, had to buy a towel because it was too cold)
10.30 started the dolphin sighting tour, saw a family of dolphins wuhoo!
12.45 ate tuna bread for lunch at penguin island, bought them earlier at RWE as there were no shops at penguin island
1.10 boarded ferry (free) back to mainland
1.30 boarded bus 551, stop at Ar-Rukun Mosque for zhr&asr and continue on bus 555 to rockingham station
3.05 boarded train to perth underground station & red cat to watertown shopping centre
3.30 did lots of shopping!
4.15 red cat to hotel
4.30 unfortunately the red cat terminated half way, had to continue on foot to hotel (15mins walk)..
4.45 arrived hotel, drop all shopping begs
5.00 went for dinner and a little shopping at nearby stores
6.30 back to hotel and rest
11.00 lunch at Dánkasa
11.30 bought 2 zone tickets.. took bus 380 to T1
12.00 arrived airport, waited like forever for the airasia counter to open
2.00 fill up immigration form (took the form from the old guy with yellow coat)
2.15 counter airasia finally opened! So many people lining up! Went to service counter to ask if we need to line up too as we have done web check in and no baggage to drop, she said no need, just line up at the premium line (only one person lining up)..came up to the counter, the lady said we should have been lining at the general counter, but its ok she will lets us pass.. lucky!
3.00 went through immigration smoothly
3.15 waiting for the 4.50 flight back to KL
10.30 arrived KL
*that is why you need internet data when you are travelling, so spend some money on buying a simcard with data
*always ask around when you don't know, for us bus drivers are very helpful because we took the public transport and perth public transport is very efficient!!
*thanks to D'ankasa restaurant for very delicious, big portion and halal food.. we ate dinner here everyday!
*thanks to criterion hotel for good services, i hope they make the hotel friendlier to muslim such as providing a small bucket in the toilet, praying mat and kiblat direction, if they improve i am sure more muslims will pick this hotel to stay at perth
*am very glad Perth people are used to muslim (or maybe they just are very kind with good attitude), and no such harassment happened (due to the ISIS attack in Paris).. I wonder why the time of my travel is always during of ISIS issue.. go to hell ISIS !
Would I want to go again? Nah~ Once is enough ;)

#Passport must be 6 months before expired (new passport RM100 for 2 years, sekarang dah lain kot, bring your IC & 1 copy, takes about an hour)

#research the transportation at hyperdia.com, to go anywhere within tokyo is very easy using train/subway only because most of the places are walking distance, unless it is outside of the tokyo city, needs to take the bus
#if you don't have a friend who can speak japanese.. MUST learn the basic japanese conversation.. i repeat.. MUST !
#Departure from KLIA2 at 2.20pm (malaysia time)
#Arrived tokyo airport at 9.50pm (tokyo time)
#Due to early arrival had to wait for the plane to park as the gate was occupied
#Able to park at 10.10pm
#the story at immigration - my beg was checked very thoroughly & and also a lady officer checked my body.. maybe because i was quite confused when he asked me some questions (what do u expect for a first timer!) & also ISIS what a hot issue (plus i wore all black, which i usually do on daily basis.. next time NEVER wear all black!)
#11.16pm accidentally exit at anamori eki (eki-train station) because the train didn't use english so i was quite confused.. worried that i had already passed kamata eki..wanted to ask around but still not confident
#arrived keikyu kawasaki eki.. wanted to go to kawasaki eki but got lost because had no internet data so can't use google map.. I KNEW IT!!
#gathered courage to ask around, a nice japanese couple helped out, eventhough the lady was quite drunk but she walked with me to kawasaki eki... arigato ne! very friendly indeed!
#12.02 arrived at platform to noborito..arrived on time!!! the station will be closing soon.. very nervous!!
#the train stop in the middle at musashi-nakahara eki,, i was like...WHATTT???
#felt like crying..asked a young lad looked like he could understand english..he said yes there will be one more train to noborito.. phewww!
#12.31 waited for the other train
#arrived noborito eki around 1 am
#friends came to eki and we walked to the homestay.. very tired indeed!
#subuh at 5.11am.. can't sleep well, after subuh had a decent 2 hour sleep
#breakfast with soup & eggs
#around 10am went to asakusa

#so went through the rain to the nearby street shops to buy some stuffs (like petaling street maybe?)
#took the river cruise..prayed zhr&asr on the boat..the rain stopped but it was very cold!
#walked around asakusa mall & ate tako (the only halal food)
#at night walked around tokyo city, the city was very happening at night and lots of people.. well what do you expect, they work in the day and entertain themselves at night
#10am went to fujiyama
#but sadly the bus ticket was sold out..as we were thinking of plan B.. the lady at the counter gave us a suggestion to take another bus at another station, but we had to hurry as the bus will depart soon
#and so all of us hurried to the other station
#we made it..in fact we were early..
#took the bus to fujiyama..mt fuji we are coming!
#lucky indeed there was a snow festival.. so we had the chance to play the snow slide & looked at mt fuji from near.. it was winter so we weren't allowed to go nearer
#from tokyo went to nagoya on shinkansen
#travelling around 2 hours..because i didn't get to sit at the window,so i slept..lol
#we checked in our room at the hotel and left the luggage
#went to nagoya castle by train..but the castle was closed.. forgot to check the operating hours
#so we just walked around the castle and nagoya eki..the view was nice tho..
#met with a cute & friendly girl selling green tea at the nagoya eki.. young but had her own shop.. hats off!
#4.15am woke up to go to nagoya airport
#the hotel room was quite small so had to pray one person at a time..
#at the eki, i wanted to topup my suica card but accidentally bought a paper ticket..lol.. so ended up using the suica card without recharging it.. didn't know how to.. the machine was confusing huhu
#at the end i went to the counter before exiting and paid for the amount that was not enough in my suica card, i guess that is the best way to empty my suica card..
#at the airport counter the lady insist for only two bags, i had stuff all my things into two bag..which was still not enough and ended putting some in some else's bag..they are very strict indeed
#bought some more stuffs inside the airport boarding area to finish my cash
#walked to gate 14 (the most end).. boarded the plane..a bit bumpy on the plane but everything went fine
What I learned/tips:
#never be shy to ask, eventhough they barely know english, they will try to help
#tokyo is very safe especially if you are a girl walking alone at small streets
#they are very disciplined, always lining up anywhere, no litters at all, no smoking in public, they walk quite fast.. all in all their ethics is number ONE indeed!!
Total budget : RM3265
want to go again? OFCOURSE!!
Approximation of cost:
Return flight ticket RM1800

I made a promise to myself that I'll visit Kaabah before starting any other travelling plans.. and with permission from Allah, I went for Umrah with my parents in the last few days of Dec 2014. In Feb 2015, I get to visit the first country in my list, Japan. Also went to USS in May and Perth in Nov. Planning to go to other neighboring countries (nampak tak semua dekat2 dan murah).
Alang2 dah buat 2 year passport, haruslah pulun gunakan sebaiknya kan ;)
Hope to cover more countries InsyaAllah.. even though time is not a problem, but money is.. so takleh galak sangat.. but still, dapat ke Tanah Haram, and Negara Matahari Terbit pun is a very very good start indeed.. two places that I will always keep in heart and will always want to visit again and again.. kalau dapat duduk sana terus lagi bagus..
Did consider of travelling alone, but for sure parents tak bagi (anak dara kan), so takpelah.. whatever it is, niat dulu.. ada peluang grab terus!
Hoping for a better year in 2016.. and more countries!
21 November 2014
A year full of memories indeed. Lots of events happened this year.
On the academic side, starting from me completing my degree in July, and convocation in November.
My one and only little sister struggled for her SPM in November.
I received my Masters offer letter from USM in September and continued my journey to be an academician.
On other sides, welcoming new members in the family. The birth of my first nephew in August. A new sister-in-law in December.
Many of my friends got married too this year. Some started working and some continued their studies.
Not much happened this year (to me at least).
Mahmudah got her first baby boy in February.
Still struggling with my masters... may Allah ease!!
Both my BFF got engaged, Kakpah in February and Izdi in October (few days after we went to tioman).
Went to Legoland with parents, Su & Auni in November.
My sister-in-law and brother is expecting a baby, InsyaAllah the due date is next year around Feb/March.

What I think niqab does (specifically to me, I don't know bout others) are;
1. attract people - because Malaysian are not used to this kinda clothes (I don't like being the center of attraction)
2. difficult to eat out (I always eat out - always!)
3. limited conversation (enough being an introvert, no need to worsen things up)
and other minor reasons, which all in all concludes that me being a ninja is a big no-no.
Keep calm and pray to Allah :)
04 August 2013
Thank you. Syukran. Terima kasih. Gracias. Gomawo. Arigatou. Xie xie.
All these are words we utter to show appreciation.
When someone has helped us big time, we would feel the urge to thank them not only by saying thank you, but usually to the extend of giving them gifts, belanja makan, help them back and all other sorts of action to show that we truly are greatfull for their help.
Another way to put it is, we would do our best to be nice to them so that next time they would not be reluctant to help us again. Am i right?
Sometimes even before we plan to ask for help, and we know that this person is a person who could help us in the future, maybe because they have the resource/influence/wealth/connection etc, we would always be nice to them. We would smile and great them when we see them, say good things or even praise them a bit (takde la sampai tahap bodek), act nicely, always do what they ask for quickly and attentively. All this to grab their attention and win their heart.
These are the things we do among us human. We truly believe that another human can change our life if we do good to them.
In a way, it is true. We can't live alone. We do depend on others to survive.
However, let us not forget the example of "medicine cure the sickness"
This simple example where we sometimes forget that it's not the medicine that cures us, but it's Allah. The medicine is just a medium or in another perspective; searching for the right medicine is 'our duty' and curing is 'Allah's duty'.
It is our duty to tie the camel and then we tawakal. Not tawakal without any actions.
Going back to our topic, if we did so much goodness towards another human for their small kindness, what about Allah's Kindness? The Most Mercifull.
Doing good towards others is our duty. But moving their heart to help us is Allah's duty.
So let us not forget that we, as a mere wayferer in this world, must keep in mind that we must always give thanks to Allah.
Giving thanks is not just by saying " Thank you Allah" and thats it? No!
Its more than that. We must show it by our actions.
We must do all the wajibs, solat, cover our aurah, zakat, fast, hajj, help Allah's deen and many other things that Allah asks us to do.
Sometimes when we receive a good news, we type on our fb wall : "Thank you Allah!" and being happy and all, we go out to celebrate it by doing maksiat :( we go out with our girlfriend/boyfriend till late at night, missed the prayer, not covering our aurah, and many more bad deeds.
How can you thank someone but make them mad afterwards?
Is that status on your fb wall is just for a show? showing that you are greatfull to Allah?
but in reality...... are you?
Being greatfull is not from what you utter. Its from the heart... and from the heart comes action.
Allah gives you so many things to be greatfull of.. but what did you do as return? make Him mad?
Let us ponder on this matter and reflect how far are we true towards every THANK YOU that we utter to ALLAH.
May each of our THANK YOU is followed by an action that reflects our gratitude and not the opposite.
Salam Ramadhan to all.
May Allah accept our taubat... as we are only human which cannot run from making sins.
